Things are awfully quiet over on the python forum, and I've been wonder if it's a bad idea to drop on note on the mail-list at python.org mentioning this site, in order to generate some more traffic.
Any thoughts, comments or rules that I should know about will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, all,
Barton

I found these forums by doing a web search for one of my problems.
If you start posting solutions to common problems - maybe more people would discover the Python forum.
Just an idea.
NeoPa is right. Posting solutions to other people's problems is the best way. You can always recruit "expert" friends with knowledge of PERL to help you.
More information on this soon.

I know the volume on the Access forum has gained a lot of attention. I dabble occasionally on EE and a number of the senior experts have informed me they recognised my handle on this forum. So we are definately getting out there.

All of the problems that I ever encountered are of the uncommon variety.
I'm just now learning what "common" problems look like. I have begun posting solutions with code that I have wanted to share for a long time.
Thanks for the comment, Adrian.

I have no idea how I found these forums; when I google anything, including a direct quote from a post, thescripts doesn't come up.

Strangely, when I tried to find the thread again from inside thescripts, I couldn't.
but that's how I found it anyway.

Yeah, maybe somebody who knows how these things work will look into this.
