Write to dbase

1
Hi all,
I am new to the thescripts and had a question. Is there anyway to use asp to write to a dbase file? We have a legacy app that is very large and was told that it could only be read from, not written to. I think the person that said this just wants to replace it and does not know how to do it. I have used access and sql but have never tried to integrate it with dbase to this level. I think the dbase application is worth keeping and if I could write to it, that would extend its live.

TIA
Mark
