A co-worker of mine just had a baby and left so we have an empty slot on our team. I figured I'd post a little information here in case anyone might be interested.
We're a small team and a lot of projects are taken on individually as this is navy contract work anyone who applies must have or have the ability to obtain a security clearance (U.S. citizenship, no felons, etc).
You'd be in charge of developing web applications and stand-alone deliverables in support of the team as well as the local customer base. You would also have to know how to work with SQL Server for the database administration of things. Knowledge of Sharepoint (administration and development) would probably guaruntee anyone the position as we just introduced Sharepoint and the current Web team members are just now learning.
It's a relaxed environment here with flexible work hours (within a few constraints) and you can wear jeans any day of the week. This place is probably not for the easily-offended though since there are quite a number of navy guys about with very foul mouths.
The company I work for is awesome as well. The benefits have awesome health, vision, life, and 401K.. the dental stinks but other than that it's sublime. The salary range I -think- is between 60-80K though I'm not certain because that's just a guestimate based on the type of resume's my boss has asked us to review.
