Program in assembly language

The Towers of Hanoi is an old famous puzzle. The task is to build a program (in assembly language for the simulator of the 6800 used in the tutorial) that, given one input value (that indicates the number of disc in the left most peg) computes the minimum number of steps required to move the tower to the left most peg.

Can any one help me out with this?
