web.config on Mac Safari

Not sure if anyone can hep me but I have no idea what to do about this!! When I am trying to log into a site that I am using it comes up with the following error message:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

I do not know what to do!! Its on the safari browser on my mac - it has just been happening over the past few days. Any solutions?

Thanks, Claire

I have also been getting this. I am not able to log in to My myspace site. I am getting the exact same thing. It is such a pain because I am a musician and I list information on that site. Please let me know if anyone gives you a remedy for this situation!

What worked for me: go to>> Safari>Preferences>Security>Show Cookies. Next, find the "MySpace" group in the "Show Cookies" list (list should be in A-Z order). Finally, Delete those cookies. I deleted everything ".myspace", but i won't say that is the best thing for everybody. So far so good for me, hope it's the same for you.

Leave a post if deleting the cookies did or didn't help, or if anything got screwed up.

I've had this problem repeatedly with comcast website, and here's how I fixed it. I did try to do the " Safari>Preferences>Security>Show Cookies", but could not locate it.

So I went to Safari>Preferences>Privacy>Cookies and other website data: REMOVE ALL WEBSITE DATA, then click on "DETAILS", and remove the Cookies on the specific offending website only. After doing this, I was once again able to access Comcast website.
