Free program which combines multiple install files to one setup file for Centos?

I am looking for a free program for Centos(Linux) that combines multiple install files to one setup file. I want to be able to run one file to install many programs, one by one, and I want it to be able to run unattended.

What format are your install files in? Are you using rpm's, .deb's, something else?

Depending on the format, you should be able to create a script to iterate through a list of packages and do a silent install. I'd highly recommend capturing the output to a logfile, though, so you can see if/when anything fails.

EDIT: One thing you'll probably want to track pretty carefully is if any of the updates require reboots, and what the behavior is for a silent install when prompted to reboot (my guess is that it would say no and keep the system up, but you'll want to validate that, as well as tracking what updates aren't applied because they require that reboot)
