How to display device error statistics in linux

72
Hi,

I am in a need of displaing device error statistics, is there any command in linux to do my job, like iostat -E does for Solaris?

Thanks in advance,

Next time, please post your question in the forum appropriate to your topic. Posting in the Perl forum, as you did, will not get you an answer to a Perl question. I am moving this to the Linux/Unix forum.

Maybe someone has a better answer, but I would say read the man pages. Find out how the -E works on Solaris and if it doesn't exist exactly the same in Linux, figure out the option that is. You will find though, that because they are both *nix operating systems, that the commands are the same (typically), you will just find the options may be slightly different.

Regards,

Jeff
