can i install free BSD Unix and windows on the same machine

dear all,

i have one question, as we can install linux and windows on the same machine, can we do it the same way about BSD Unix and windows XP machine ?

kindly confirm.

There is not problem with dualboot windows/*bsd becouse *bsd has own bootloader but there is one condition, you must install windows first and then *bsd...

Or theoretically install BSD, then Windows and then the BSD bootloader again - but that only makes sense if you've had BSD installed for a while and choose you want to add Windows, otherwise you should install Windows first, as vl4kn0 said.

Hello,

Another way (if Windows is to be installed after BSD), is to use GAG, THE GRAPHICAL BOOT MANAGER. GAG (free and open source) supports boot of upto 9 OSes. As someone said to me on IRC some time ago- "GAG is very easy to setup. Even my mother can install it" ;). I don't use FreeBSD but GAG should work with it.
