iptables : ipt_time : invalid size 16 != 24

Hello everyone!, I currently have debian box
I want to patch iptables to support time match with the latest version of kernel ( at the time of writing ).
I download
- Kernel
- Iptables 1.4.0
- p-o-m
- patched iptables and kernel
- re compile the kernel
- reboot the system
- make & make install the iptables 1.4.0

I have thrown the command uname -r in order to see the current kernel loading : i do see
so i started to launch another command with iptables :
iptables -A INPUT -m time --timestart 08:00 --timestop 09:00 -j REJECT
It says :
iptables : ipt_time : invalid size 16 != 24

So i have tested it again with
iptables -A INPUT -m time --timestart 08:00 --timestop 09:00 --days Mon -j REJECT
It says :
iptables version 1.4 : unknown arg ( days )

I try to build the kernel again and again, but the same message appeared
