Hi guys,
I'm having a problem with the Linux Server here (again). Once the Server started Its giving this message in the screen and nothing else here in after. I went through some documentations, forums to find out the problem but didn't get a chance to get through it.

INIT: ID "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

From forums what I can find is, its a bad configuration on Video card interface. How ever I can log into the server in text mode. What should I do to fix this.
Server : Fedora 8 on Dell power edge SC440

Hi ajaxrand,

Have you made any changes to inittab recently? To change runlevels or anything of the sort?

These two pages should give you a good summary of what is likely causing this error:

http://www.netadmintools.com/html/5inittab.man.html
