Hi there guys! I've read some of the posts in your forum and then decided to join you!. I've been programming for over 5 years, mostly in C and Java. But right now a Professor, who I'm working with, asked me to install and start working with C, C++ and Fortran in HP-UX, I don't have much experience using HP-UX.
I've been searching on the web looking for HP-UX tutorials but so far the search hasn't been good, at all. I've found only how to use the desktop kind of tutorials, which is way too basic. I've worked only a few times with UNIX (Linux Ubuntu to be more specific) and so far less than 1 month is all the experience I have.
Is there any tutorial of UNIX and/or HP-UX you can recommend me so I can start using the programms I need, create new users, and so on?.

I would recommend installing BSD on either a spare machine or a VM. A great deal of the underlying architecture of the *nix systems are the same, and once you get the basic commands down, you can pick up the subtleties of one of them pretty quickly.
The thing I would get to be most familiar with are man pages (manual pages). They show you how to use commands, and getting used to reading and looking through man pages will help you pick up new commands and be able to operate on the console.
