Error with "make dist clean" and "make clean"

63
Hi, I'm trying the "make distclean" comand. but I allways get this error:

joao@joao-desktop:/usr/ffmpeg$ sudo make distclean
make: *** Sem regra para processar o alvo `m4/advanced_shell.m4', necessįrio por `Makefile.in'. Pare.
if I use the "make clean" I get the same error.
Can someone teach me to use this commands, please?

Thanks a lot,

Joćo

Could help if you post the English version of that error message.

I will translate it my self, may not be the most correct transation...

"make*** have no rule to process the target m4/advanced_shell.m4', Necessary to put `Makefile.in'. Stop."

Hope this help you helping me.

Check the Makefile. It sounds like there is no rule for clean or distclean in the makefile.
