I am wondering whether we can start terminal by using command line or not?

if we can what is the command to open the terminal process?
for example if we want to run Konqueror we type Konqueror in command, so if we want to start the terminal what is the command that we use?

If you want to start a terminal under X, use xterm. There will probably be others (e.g. xfterm4 when running Xfce), but that depends on your system.

I want to start, for example, openvpn program when the Desktop Environment load finish. what should i do?
