NULL password in UNIX

What files needs to be changed to create users with NULL password?..I have changed the files in aix,hp,solaris ...so that it is allowing password with zero length..but I guess for NULL password it wont ask for a password...

Why do you want to allow users giving no password? Isn't that a major security hole?

Would it be sufficient, to have users with autologons or do you want several users, which just don't have to enter a password? (Although I do agree, that is a security risk. If you do so, give those users very limited rights.(Sandbox?))
