How to Bring down RPC Server

Hi,

I am facing an issue that RPC Server (Solaris) instance remains alive when RPC client running on a different machine (Windows) disconnects for a reason when power off or cable unplugged.

How to handle this situation ? Did any one come across the situation, what is the work around, is there any updated links to glance or refer.
