linux login delay

Running Redhat Enterprise Linux release 4.
I'm pretty new at this and this is a brand new installation. Everytime I login I get the following message:
login: Cannot resolve network address for KDC in requested realm while getting initial credentials

The system eventually lets me continue the login process. Is the something in Kerberos(?) that need to be turned off?

Did you change your hostname lately? If yes, pls update the new hostname in your hosts file too. Good luck & take care.
