How to capture event when user is opening new tab

Hi,

I want to capture the event in javascript when a new tab is opened in browser and when user switches the tab in the browser.

There are no JavaScript events for that as JavaScript does not operate between tabs. you may track leaving/entering a tab with blur/focus, though.
