Using Cookies?

does anyone know where i can learn how to read, plant, and use cookies to
control a specific page that someone comes to when they visit my website so
that they pick up where they left off?

You will have to decide if you want to do this serverside or clientside and
define what you mean with "so that they pick up where they left off"
