adding a news feed to a horizontal news ticker

P: 4
Hello:

We are trying to build some news tickers based on jquery. The first one is using the google api to pull from a news feed, but there are features our bosses want that aren't in this version. In addition, the ticker has some quirks like it seems to speed up and slow down irregularly. In addition, there is no continuous scrolling, Here is the first version:

This is based on the egrappler news ticker.

In the second version, we have modified the smoothscrollDiv beta to manually include news links, but we are currently trying to figure out how to add grabbing from news feeds as in the example above. Many of the features in this version is what our bosses want:

How do we incorporate the google feed api into the javascript here to make it work so that it can pull feeds into the div and still use all the functionality of this plugin, such as smooth scrolling, changing directions on click?

Thanks in advance for your help.

So the bosses have opted to go with http://www.jquerynewsticker.com/.However, since the feed is on another domain I need to use json to tap the rss feed. Does anyone have any script to help me do this?

Once again, thanks in advance for your help.
