how can I get produced event?

I have this code:

</script>

<img onmousemove="handler(????????)">
-----------------

how can I send the produced event (from onmousemove) as parameter in
function handler????

<img onmousemove="handler(event)">

Netscape (Mozilla) passes the Event object to the event handlers as
an argument named "event". IE has a global variable named "event",
so you can refer to it by the same name.
