Opera and Modal Dialogs

Hello, does anybody know how to open a dialog window in opera?

I use window.showModalDialog(....) for IE but Opera says "Expression did not
evaluate to a function object: window.showModalDialog"

I don't think Opera supports opening modal dialogs from JavaScript.

I use window.showModalDialog(....) for IE but Opera says "Expression did not

The function showModalDialog is IE/Windows specific.
