problems with flyout menus and positioning

P: n/a
I have a page with several flyout menus positioned horizontally across
the top of the page. The menus function properly except when they
rollout over the top of an HTML form element, such as an input box or
drop down list. In this case the flyout menu falls behind the HTML form
element. I have tweaked on the z-index values for both the form elements
and the flyouts with no success. Browser is IE--has not been tested in
Netscape... Any ideas?

Form elements don't listen to z-indeces. A workaround is to dynamically hide
the offending elements or place them lower on your page.
