script to store articles

I am looking for a script to store articles to a web page, please.

I have a "Save As" option in my browser.
If that is not what you meant, perhaps we could do with a little bit
information about what to store, in what sort of database?
In most cases, javascript is probably not the best choice as it has
difficulty reading other files, and is not capable of writing to files.
