I'm trying to make a drop down to select a year but I want to make it completly unlimited but that means I need to hide the year 0 since that doesn't exist.

you cannot make an unlimited dropdown (because a select element requires a limited amount of options). in that case rather go for a text field.

I'm not actually making it unlimited. The user has so set a range. When I said unlimited I meant there is no limit on the range. Like if you use a DTP program to make a calander at it says you can make any calender from 1800 to 2200. I'm trying the make the range go back to the beginnning of the Universe or to the end if that's what they want.

if you have a range, then just exclude the value 0 in your creation loop.
