How to open new browser window in F11 mode from Code?

I want to do a slide show presentation from my website and when user clicks on the slideshow i want to be able to take over the full screen to render my photos similar to how it is possible to do in Flash, but without flash.

Any help is appreciated. Have been scouring the wbe for two days with not much success.
