Javascript reset function not working in FF

Hello,
I am using one combo box filled with values.Depending on selection of value from combo box,by using observe_field,data is getting retrieved.Options for the combo box are [Select Name],Value1,Value2,Value3. Whenever i select "[Select Name]",data which got retrieved from the database should get clear.I am using reset javascript function to clear the fields.It gets clear in IE but not working in FF.Help me.
