How to position tables

I have several tables in one .jsp file. But at a time i need only one. Like with user inputs different tables will be shown. Problem is with positioning of these tables. When I made them they were stacked one after another. So, if I show table-2 then (all other are invisible) there is gap between heading and table(space of table-1). One constrain is that I have to use same address(of web-page ), I can't use multiple pages(for different tables).

Instead of the style.visibility property, set style.display to "none".
