Jquery conflict

Hi all,

pls see the urls

for the above url i have used prototype.js (for index1.php) and Jquery (for index2.php). when am run this examples its working fine

But when am integrate both jquery and prototype , am not able to run the prototype example. see

Am searched jquery noconflict but am not have luck or do not know how to use jquery noconflict

thanks for the reply. Am said already that above link is not work for me or do not know how to use.

     var $j = jQuery.noConflict();

     $j(document).ready(function(){

     $('someid').hide();
   </script>
 
 
If am using this i got "$(document).ready is not function", what is the error
