Editing Title in alert box

Hi,

Is it possible to edit the alert box title in javascript. If possible can anyone tell me how to do that.

I dont have idea about that so far and now i need to know about that.

Can any one help me in this pls.

it's probably a browser thing, javascript is not the only component that can bring up an alert message.

erm, what I meant is: I donít think you can. (imagine youíd change the title to "system error", what would you as end user think?)

Is there any other way to use alert message. instead of using alert box, how can i use alert message with any custom alert msg box..

it is definitly not possible to change the browser-dialog's titlebars ... goes for alert, confirm, prompt ... but you might always build your own custom DHTML-message dialog ...

Here's one that may interest you. Note that it doesn't work exactly like the browser alert because you can still access browser functions.
