Invalid Argument in IE but working properly in Mozilla

P: 2,476
I am trying 2 change the styles of a cell.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.['borderWidth'] = 'solid';
  2.['borderLeft'] = 'hidden';
  3.['borderRight'] = 'hidden';
Now these three lines are working properly in Mozilla but not in IE.
It's saying invalid argument ...Why?

Using 'none' instead of 'hidden' works in both browsers.

Internet Explorer for Windows versions up to and including 7:

* don’t support the value hidden
* don’t support the value inherit
