javascript+safari

I think the above function has problem with safari . It works fine on
IE and Firefox.
If yes please tell me the alternative.

Why do you think that? Other than the missing call operator, it
should work - do you have an example that doesn't?

2. Type something in the search box.
3. Enter javascript:void document.forms[0].submit() in the location bar.
