iframe.readtState() not working for me

i am trying to determine if my iframe content loaded or not,
can someone tell me what is wornge with this script :

function iframe(){
    y = document.getElementById('iframe_test');
    if (y.readyState == "complete")
        document.getElementById('show').style.display="none";
}
