How to refresh the page?

when i change the outside test.txt, it seems that the setinterval doesn't work.
anythings wrong with this script. The XMLHttpRequest still response with the old text.

it is cached i guess ... add a unique number to the url like:

var url = 'test.txt?' + (+ new Date); 
action.open("GET", url , true);

this avoids reading from the cache ...
