Hi

how can i write Expressions within Expressions ?
i've got the query i need to write it down as a expression

example
[PHP]
document.write("<a href='prd.asp?item='Tom'>TOM</a>");
[/PHP]

in need to write Tom with ' ' like this
'Tom' but within the Expression like " "

how can i write it down ?

Escape characters

document.write("<a href=\"prd.asp?item='Tom'\">TOM</a>");
 

the \" makes it actually write " to the page rather than breaking the string in javascript.. this is called character escaping.. why do you need single quotes around 'Tom' though?
