I read that i need to set it in my target="frame name"

but i don't know what the current frame name is, is there a way i can have textbox using javascript showing me the name
of the current frame.

or any other idea on how i can open the hyperlink's Targeturl within the current frame.

i think i don't understand the requirement correct. to open a url in the CURRENT frame you don't need a target, only in case it has a target aleady and you want to replace that with another ... where you just need to remove the target-attribute from the hyperlink. please post a code-example that demonstrates what you want to do ... so that the requirement would become a bit more clear ...

kind regards
