Cross domain Scripting

Basically we know that JavaScript does not support cross domain scripting.
But today i heard that Google does support cross domain scripting.
Is that true ..if true then please explain.

like the <img> tag, <script> tags can be sourced from any domain.

using a server, various entities may offer an interface to data and services using an external javascript src, somthing not prohibited by the domain restrictions. data can be sent via the tag's url and recieved in json format, or perhaps as en encoded string. the architecture is virtually identical to ajax, with only changes in the encoding and method of transfer.
