Hi folks,
I'd appreciate help in this direction:
I have noticed how impressively I have made progress training myself in recent months in the fields of PHP and MYSQL. Surely, the most effective tools, I've realzed, are the respective official manuals of PHP and MYSQL.
Very differently, the story has been very different with JavaScript. Since there appears to be no official JAVASCRIPT MANUAL, can anyone recommend anything that comes close? I really need to fire up my Javascript cylinders!!
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease! Someone!
Regards, Ifedi.

Check the links in the Offsite Links thread, especially the W3Schools and Mozilla references.

Thanks a million, acoder, for your kind reply.
I have found the Mozilla References especially rich and promising.
One more request:
Since my access to the internet is presently rather inconsistent and often slow, is there perhaps a DOWNLOADABLE alternative? e.g. like a .chm
Thanks as always.

Not sure of any free one that's good. You could try this one, but I don't know if it's outdated.
