How to make sure the dynamic image is loaded?

Hi girls and guys! I am dynamically loading an image on the click of a button. There is some code which makes use of that image, how can i make sure the image is loaded. i.e the code is to be executed after the image has been loaded by the browser.

See if img's onload event makes you happy...
