Create and Delete List Elements in Scriptaculous

Scriptaculous needs an official forum but does not have one so I am asking here :).

note you will need to be familiar with scriptaculous to help me here.

Basicly I have a script that has a variable number of Sortables.
These are lists(ul's) that contain any number of items(li's), the li's can be dragged and dropped into other lists, so the user can basicly, drag and drop block-elements(the li's) into the different lists. Anyway, currently if I start with li' in any of the lists it works fine. The li's can be dragged between lists without errors. I made a new list, where if it was dragged into it would clear the "innerhtml" therefore removing the li dragged into it. The script shows errors as soon as it is removed this way. I think I need to be using scriptaculous functions to correctly remove the list element. But I cant think where to start? How can I Create and Delete list elements in scriptaculous?

This is a good example or similar to what I want to do, however it is written in ruby, and I do not understand ruby?

Thanks, Josh

The example may be written in Ruby, but viewing the source code will show the calls required in Scriptaculous.
