JS issue: Automation server can't create object

P: 1
I use file system object to open a html file in a text area.
when i write the code like,

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. fso = new ActiveXObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject");
  2. f = fso.OpenTextFile(file, ForReading,false,TristateUseDefault);
it displays a error like automation server can't create object.
can anyone help me!!

This error means that you haven't given enough permissions for the ActiveX to run. So enable ActiveX scripting in your IE browser and the error should go away.
