dotted line appeared around the button after applying focus command

hi i am new to javascript i hav some problem with button in page that is when i set the focus to button the dotted line appear around the button is there any solution to hide that dotted line...please help me

That shows that the button has focus. Why do you want to get rid of it?

yah my button has focused but i dont want to show the dotted line, my tester put this as a bug. can you please tell me solution for that?

Thats not a bug.
The browser does that to show that the button has focus.

i dont't know of a way to do that for standard-buttons but you may create custom ones for your own ...

You may find this link useful. You'll probably have to adapt it for buttons. Remember to give your users an alternative method of determining which button/element has focus.
