connection using javascript

sir,
i wish to study the advance features of java script .....Can u please tell How we will connect Javascript with Excel as back end ....

Can U please forward some example codings or give some tutorials sites to get that .....

i've to tell you that you simply cannot use excel as a backend, besides you will only, and i mean only :) ... IE for your application. in that case it may be that you could use an activeX-Component to connect excel to your webpage ...
