keyboard events equivalent to mouse

I have created a table (3 rows, 3 columns) in HTML. I have placed some icons in each cell, and have written actions for onclick event as well as mouseover. These icons are inside <A> tag, so the keyboard tab works. I want even the arrow keys to allow navigation between the table cells as well as enter key on a cell perform the same action as that of onclick. How do I do that? Any tips?

Thank you,
Ramesh.
