how to add gif animation within process?

hi..

I'm new in AJAX and I want to learn it 'cause it's very interesting.

1. how to add gif animation while a page is being loaded covered with full transparent layer?



2. I got this script , very interesting basic ajax to be learned. and, how to add gif animation to this script?

You could just display the gif image when the Ajax request is made and hide (set visibility to "hidden") once the request is complete.
