First I need to parse the URL string using location.search so the result will only contain the GET variable in question.
From here I need to append this information to an anchor that is part of a <li> menu. Is this possible?
I have tried:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
- <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="text/javascript">
- function sendID()
- {
- var urlID = location.search
- window.location = "http://www.domain.com/~my-admin/mc-ticketing/reporting_home.php?"+urlID
- };
- </SCRIPT>
<li><a target="_parent" href="reporting_home.php" onClick="sendID()">Reporting</a></li>
I have very little experience with Javascript, only using it for inline calendar controls for my php pages. I can imagine this is some thing that would be easy to do, however my lack of experience is keeping me from getting there.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
