Trigger action on combo box value when no change has taken place

Hello

In my JSP, I have several comboboxes (located in several forms in one JSP). In the onChange event , I have :

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. onchange="submit()"
My combobox have the values :
Select Item
Action 1
Action 2
Action 3

The code works fine, but only if the user chooses an action (Action 2 for example) and another page depending on the choice is shown to him, if he presses the back button on browser, the value Action 2 is shown in combo box and if user wishes to click that again, nothing happens (since no change has taken place)

Could you please help me understand how to enable the user to choose Action 2 again and go to next page?

Thanks
Maral

Instead of onchange, you'll have to use a button, but you could use both.

So an onchange triggers a submit, but it can also be triggered by a button next to the combo box which the user can click.

I've changed the thread title to give it a better description.

This helps to ensure that other members, and also the general public, will have a better chance of finding answers to any similar questions.
