Assigning value to Browse button without using browse button in HTML

Hi frndz ,
I want to assgin value to <input type=file, without
clicking browse button ,
And i know that it is readonly , But how it is possible in Firfox
browsers ?..

Is there any alternative solution to achieve this is IE browser?...

If you know it is readonly, then why do you have to even ask if you can
set a value that you know is readonly?
