Is it my computer or the site I am on?

I don't know anything about Java--I just use what most of you put out there but there is a site I use that is giving me a problem. When I click on a link it will not open the link. It will display "Error on page" next to the yellow triangle. When I click on it, it tells me that there is an "unterminated string constant". It will also show in the details:
Line: 1
Char: 89
Error: unterminated string constant
Code: 0
URL: (too long to type in)

I am running XP, SP2, IE7

Is it a problem with the site or is it a setting on my computer (on IE7, etc)? Any help would be appreciated.

It has nothing to do with Java. I suspect it's a Javascript error on the site you are trying to visit so I'll move this thread to the Javascript forum.
Do you get the same error when you visit other sites?

But the company that runs the site is telling me that it is a setting on my computer. They said that they can pull it up but I have tried on 2 different computers and it happens on both of them.

Have you tried using a different browser like Firefox?

The browser says the javascript has an "unterminated string constant" so there's nothing on his computer that can create that.
