Can this be done with javascript?

I would like to be able to open a new browser window and have it load
a website I spefify, and when done I need to somehow get a copy of the
browser screen into the clipboard (Alt Prints Screen in Windows) for
saving as an image. Is it even doable using Javascript?

I would be worried if this were possible. Imagine directing the user to
the page that displays all the passwords at your local bank and then
copying the screen to the clipboard. It is the opening scene from a
hackers wet-dream.

have a look at AutoIT. Write a script to do what you want and have it do
the dirty work for you.

http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/

I'm not even a novice when it comes to something like autoIT scripts, but I
am almost certain you could enable some kind of global key sequence or
something that will fire off your script to screen shot the browser, or even
better, do a file save as... 'html page complete' for you...

anyway, what you're asking for is not available without going past native
browser limits. It's possible you could write an HTA for IE to do what
you're after but I have no experience with that either.

just tossing out ideas. : -)
