Javascript Tool Tips

35
Hello experts!

I hope someone can tell me where I can find working javascript code that creates and enables tool tips. I have O'Reilly's JavaScript, The Definitive Guide and have been studying that but so far have not been able to make it work.

I realize I still have a lot to learn in JavaScript, so I believe it is me and not the book or its examples that is the problem. I do learn more easily if I can see not only the code but the example working in a browser.

I did a search in The Scripts on this topic and found only a VB discussion of this. That is not helpful to me in my situation.

If this question is too broad, then I would appreciate some guidance about making my need more specific.

TIA
